Why a Mobile Minister?

As a bride myself, I struggled to find a balance between the cold courthouse ceremony and the expensive, long, and stressful "show" I had been a part of so many other times. Eloping was the perfect choice for us. We celebrated with family and friends a couple months later at a Backyard BBQ style reception.

My wedding elopement lasted just a couple of minutes. It was held at a park overlooking the Colorado river with just five guests, all family. It was perfect for us. My husband in his cargo shorts & flip-flops, me in my floor-length white dress complete with a train. Not your typical wedding, but it was simple enough for my husband, and I enjoyed having it out in nature.

Years later, our vow renewal included more personal elements. The pagan ceremony included a poetry reading by our grown kids and a hand-fasting in the meditation circle in the garden. With pets in attendance, it was a beautiful ceremony reaffirming our commitment and love.

1. My thirst for knowledge keeps me continually studying and learning new things..

2. My fascination with anthropology, mythology, religion, and the spiritual connection created from ritual practices enhance my life as well as my skills as an interfaith minister.

3. I am a Druidess:. A modern Druid is a person who practices Druidism, a modern spiritual movement that focuses on nature and personal growth. Modern Druids believe in the divine essence of nature and seek to live in harmony with the natural world.

4. In collage I studied psychology and counseling. I have always been passionate about making a positive difference in peoples lives.

5. I am a lifetime advocate of equality; sexual identity, marriages, human rights, and personal individuality. Always seeking to encourage and embrace the unique.

6. As an avid nature lover; I kayak, hike, explore, and camp as often as possible.

7. I garden indoors and out, forage for plants, am an herbalist, as well as an active advocate and teacher of natural medicine.

8. Cooking, baking, and creating new healthy recipes excites me.

9. My family unit includes a husband, two grown children, two cats, two dogs, a resident owl, a pair of pigeons nesting in our tree, and a hummingbird named Puck that guards the garden.

10. I love science fiction, fantasy, gaming, and am a "covert geek".
